Environmental awareness around the world has greatly influenced Tom Winter Architects. We understand how to use resources, materials and methods to leave a minimal footprint on the environment. This includes evaluating materials for their longevity and durability, pre- and post-construction energy consumption and heating and cooling requirements.

We look at the life cycle cost of construction and understand that environmentally friendly design and implementation has the potential to save not only natural resources but also investment and maintenance cost.

TWa has successfully implemented green buildings with an innovative use of green roofs, photovoltaic, geothermal heat pumps and smart house control systems. Our design provides an intelligent answer to the complex requirements of our environment.
