Space, location and budget were the key constraints for this project. Interior qualities had to compensate for a lack of exterior visibility and a high traffic location. The intention was to create a dynamic spatial and functional flow – for customers and staff. Table and service counter define a curved “river bed” containing the movement between entrance and exit doors while seating and service are arranged along the “river banks”. The natural material composition (wood, stone, glass, steel) and detail perfection reflect the creative gourmet food offered in this unique sandwich store.
