2008 - 2011

Across from the Socrates Sculpture Park and the East River waterfront the building occupies a prominent street corner. The design explores the dynamic of folded facades and angular cantilevered floor slabs. Despite very restrictive zoning rules the building interacts in a textured way with its surrounding, reflecting the spirit of the close by sculpture park.

Construction for this 53 unit building started in June 2008 but came to a halt due to the current economic conditions. Completion is expected for 2011.
