This project is set in a beautiful rural New York State landscape. The needs of the clients were simple and provided an opportunity for an expressive interaction between site, client and architect. The studio, for a respected NY sculptor, needed a rolling gantry to work on the large pieces of steel that became the art work. The structure, also in steel, allows for a simple assembely process while providing light and space enough to work in.
